HCC leads Task 1.1, mapping the current advisory support for sustainable livestock production systems across 29 countries, providing a solid evidence base for project activities. In addition, HCC is responsible for Work Area 4, which focuses on embedding EU livestock advisory systems into AKIS and broader EU networks, ensuring stronger integration, knowledge flow, and long-term impact.

HCC coordinated the development of the State-of-the-Art Mapping Report on advisory networks supporting sustainable livestock production, the first deliverable of the LiveNet project. Leading the process from design to completion, we created the methodology, supported national partners with guidance, and ensured consistency across countries. By consolidating and analysing inputs from across Europe, HCC delivered a comprehensive mapping that not only underpins the formation of LiveNet’s National Networks but also provides a solid evidence base for future activities. This work demonstrates HCC’s strength in methodological design, partner coordination, and turning complex data into actionable insights that drive impact.
