HCC plays a central role in maximising the impact of the ClimateSmartResearch project, co-leading Work Package 5: From Stakeholder Engagement to Embedding Results. Our responsibilities focus on ensuring that project outcomes are widely disseminated, embedded in policy, and sustained beyond the project’s lifetime.
HCC leads the dissemination of innovative climate-smart farming approaches, coordinates the production of 150 EIP-AGRI Practice Abstracts, and drives the project’s policy dialogue, resulting in an action-oriented Policy Roadmap and five concise Policy Briefs. With long-standing expertise in communication, dissemination, and policy facilitation through the EIP-AGRI network and multiple Horizon projects, HCC ensures that CSR’s solutions are not only visible but also effectively integrated into the EU’s climate neutrality agenda and national AKIS frameworks.

ClimateSmartResearch summary
ClimateSmartResearch (CSR) is a 5-year Horizon Europe project aiming to accelerate the transition to climate neutral agriculture. The project will co-develop a common research framework, build capacity and networks, test cutting-edge climate-smart solutions on pioneering ERS, validate emerging practices and tools on innovating ERS, and maximise impact through dissemination and policy recommendations. With a budget of nearly €12 million, CSR will deliver practical knowledge, toolkits, and Climate Action Plans that help farmers and stakeholders reduce emissions, adapt to climate change, and build resilient farming systems aligned with EU climate neutrality goals.
